Metal construction holds up well in Oklahoma weather. The metal panels are screwed down — not nailed — for extra holding power in wind. While no building is storm-proof, metal barns generally handle wind, rain, and hail better than wood.

Ventilation is the key. Our metal horse barns include ridge vents and proper airflow design to prevent heat buildup. Many customers also add insulation or reflective barriers for extra comfort. The metal itself doesn't trap heat any more than wood when properly ventilated.

We offer a wide range of metal colors — from traditional barn red and green to gray, tan, white, and more. You can mix and match roof and wall colors. We'll show you the color chart when you get your quote.

Yes. Like all our portable buildings, metal horse barns are built on a portable frame. If you need to relocate it on your property or take it to a new address, we can move it for you.

Minimal. You won't need to paint or stain the exterior. An occasional rinse with a hose keeps it looking good. Check the screws and trim once a year, and you're set. That's one of the main reasons people choose metal over wood.
