Is the loft the same in metal and wood models?
Yes. The loft framing and decking are the same quality in both versions. The only difference is the exterior material. Inside, you get the same amount of storage space regardless of whether the outside is wood or metal.
What sizes do metal lofted barns come in?
We offer metal lofted barns from 8×12 up to 16×40. The most popular sizes are 10×16 and 12×24. Larger sizes give you more loft space proportionally.
Can I add electricity to a metal lofted barn?
Yes. Many customers have a licensed electrician add electrical service after delivery. Metal buildings need proper grounding, which any qualified electrician can handle. We can pre-wire during the build if requested.
Which lasts longer — wood or metal?
Both last a long time with proper care. Metal requires less maintenance and is more resistant to pests, rot, and weather damage. Wood offers a more traditional look and better natural insulation. Metal tends to have a longer maintenance-free lifespan.
