The loft is built to hold typical storage items — boxes, totes, seasonal decorations, lighter equipment. It's not designed for heavy machinery or as a living space. For specifics on weight limits for your size, ask when you get your quote.
What sizes are most popular?
The 10×16 and 12×24 are our most popular sizes. The 10×16 handles a typical family's overflow storage well. The 12×24 gives you room for a riding mower, tools, and still have floor space left over.
Can I use a wood lofted barn as a workshop?
Many customers do. Add a window package for natural light, and you've got a solid workspace. Some customers add electrical (by a licensed electrician after delivery) and use them year-round. The loft keeps your storage overhead so the floor stays clear for working.
